By Daily Sports on May 30, 2020

Napoli have turned their attention to Emmanuel Dennis and reportedly prioritise landing the Club Brugge forward over Lille’s Victor Osimhen.

The Serie A club have entered the race to sign the Nigeria international from the Belgium Pro League champions.

Brugge head coach Philippe Clement has conceded that the 22-year-old will leave the club in the near with Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Sheffield United, Watford, Monaco and Sampdoria all having also been linked with his services.

“It is very likely that Dennis will leave,” Clement told La Derniere Heure via the Daily Mail. “He can also count on a lot of interest. It is the time for him to take a new step.”

Dennis, who is contracted to Brugge until 2022, joined the Belgian giants from Ukrainian club side Zorya Luhansk three years ago.

He scored nine goals in 33 appearances for the Belgium Pro League champions across all competitions this season, including two in the club’s 2-2 draw away to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League group stages.

Napoli have also expressed interest in signing his Super Eagles teammate from Lille while Ivorian winger Jeremie Boga has also reportedly been added to the club’s transfer wish list. (Daily Mail)
