Real Madrid have reportedly reignited their interest in Liverpool forward Sadio Mane.
According to Le10 Sport, the Spanish giants have turned their full attention to signing the Senegal international after being frustrated in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe is Real’s main target, but with PSG reluctant to sell their star man the club have been forced to turn their attentions elsewhere and Mane has popped up as a suitable alternative.
The 28-year-old has been in superb form for Liverpool over the last two seasons and is the current African Footballer of the Year.
He has scored 18 goals and assisted a further 12 in 38 appearances across all competitions for the Premier League leaders this season and has been one of the Reds’ best players as they look set to lift their first top division title in three decades.
In total, Mane has scored 77 times in 161 games for the Merseyside club since moving to Anfield from Southampton four years ago. (African Football)
