Governor Okowa Appoints Bekederemor SSA on Sports Development

Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, has appointed Mr. Neville Bekederemor as his Senior Special Adviser on Sports Development.

While appointing the former Warri Wolves Chairman as his new adviser, the Governor said his wealth of experience is still relevant to sports development in the state.

Bekederemor was among the victorious Delta State Sports Commission board members under Chairman Tonobok Okowa’s first four years in office.

During his period in office his efforts and those of other board members helped to sustain Delta State in the number one position in sports in Nigeria.

Winning the national youth games back to back and ensured that Delta State retained its status as defending champion of the National Sports Festival.

Following the excellent performance of the board, Elder Eddington Kuejubola has now be appointed Team Coordinator, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, Mr. Neville Bekederemor as Senior Special Adviser on Sports Development to Governor of Delta State, while Cheneye Dafey was returned as member of the Delta State Sports Commission.
