Champions Bayern Munich maintained their slender one-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga with a goalless home draw against second-placed RB Leipzig.
Bayern were on a six-game winning run and went top last weekend after Leipzig drew against Borussia Monchengladbach.
But the hosts failed to extend their advantage as visiting goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi brilliantly kept out efforts from Thiago and Leon Goretzka.
Timo Werner should have scored for Leipzig but side-footed wide.
Werner, who has 20 league goals this season, failed to work Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, stroking his first-time shot off target when unmarked inside the box.
Skipper Marcel Sabitzer should also have done better when the ball broke to him 12 yards out, but the Austria international blazed way over.
Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, the league's top scorer with 22 goals, had an effort cleared off the line in the opening period and thought he won a penalty for his side when tripped inside the area, but the decision was overturned for offside by the video assistant referee.
Bayern, though, extended their lead over third-placed Borussia Dortmund to four points after they were beaten 4-3 at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. (ESPN)
