Lille Coach Speaks On Osimhen Real Madrid Links

By Daily Sports` on January 5, 2020

Lille OSC head coach Christophe Galtier has discussed reports linking Nigeria international Victor Osimhen with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The tactician was speaking to the media ahead of Lille’s Coupe de France round of 64 match against Raon l’Etape.

Spanish sports daily Marca have reported that Real are monitoring Victor Osimhen and his Lille teammates, Gabriel dos Santos and Boubakary Soumaré.

“Marca’s front page? I don’t know if they talked about it in the locker room. I didn’t get any feedback on that,” Galtier said.

“On a personal level, I’m focused on the competition. The transfer window will end on the 31st. I’ll see what will happen.

“I don’t mind. I don’t get a sense of pride either. The media may be the news. I didn’t talk about it with my president or with Luis Campos. That doesn’t interest me.”

Osimhen is Lille’s top goalscorer in the league this season having netted 10 goals in 18 Ligue 1 matches.

He has also been linked with English clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool FC. (Agency Report)
