Wikki Tourists FC attacker Manu Garba has lamented that he will not be on duty for his side today against Plateau United in the matchday three match of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) in Jos.
This followed a hamstring injury he sustained during their training session on Wednesday.
Manu Garba, who was influential to Wikki Tourists’ victory in their last two games against Jigawa Golden Stars and Nasarawa United, said that the Plateau United game has been on his mind.
“It’s unfortunate that I’m going to miss the match, but I have the belief in the ability of my team mates to do us proud, Insha Allah we will come out victorious,” he said.
Wikki Tourists FC won their first two matches and have six points, placing second on the table behind Plateau United with same points but with one goal difference.
The match kicks off by 4pm at the new Jos Stadium.
