LMC Reschedules Akwa Starlets Vs Kano Pillars Matchday 2 Clash

The League Management Company (LMC) of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has rescheduled the matchday two encounter between Akwa Starlets Football Club of Uyo and Kano Pillars Football Club of Kano.

The match, which was earlier fixed for Sunday, November 10, 2019, will now be played a day earlier on Saturday, November 9.

The move is to avoid a clash as fellow Akwa Ibom State NPFL campaigners Akwa United will be up against Abia Warriors on Sunday.

A statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of LMC, Salihu Abubakar, said that the management of NNL Champions Akwa Starlets is expected to put all logistics in place for the game.

The matchday two encounter will be staged at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Akwa Starlets started their campaign last weekend with a 1-1 draw against Delta Force in Asaba and will be gunning for their first three points of the season.
