By Obaseki Anthony on November 7, 2019

Bendel Insurance of Benin on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, forced newly promoted NNL side, Apex Crane, to a 1-1 draw at the University of Benin Sports Complex.

The Coach Tosan Bob Blankson-led Apex Krane opened scoring after 22 minutes of play courtesy of Odili Chukwuma’s volley.

However, the experienced Bernard Ogbe side wasted no time to level up against the stubborn visitors from Delta State in the 38th minute.

Apex Krane FC almost made it two in the second half but the referee ruled out the goal due to an infringement.

Apex had lost her first club friendly game a fortnight ago 2-0 to NPFL and sister club, Warri Wolves FC.
