Barcelona Monitors Red-Hot Osimhen

By Daily Sports on November 1, 2019

Barcelona have reportedly joined Bayern Munich and AC Milan in monitoring Nigeria international Victor Osimhen.

According to Soccer Link, Osimhen has attracted interest from several of Europe’s top clubs as he continues to impress for Lille this season.

The 20-year-old joined the French Ligue 1 side in August as a replacement for Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe, having made a name for himself in the Belgium Pro League with RSC Charleroi.

Osimhen has already scored eight goals in 14 appearances for Lille this season and was named the French Ligue 1 Player of the Month for September.

He made his Super Eagles debut at the age of 18, having played a key role in helping Nigeria to FIFA U17 World Cup success four years ago, ending the tournament as the top scorer.

Osimhen netted his first goal for the senior team in a 2-2 draw against Ukraine last month. (African Football)
