FC Ifeanyi Ubah ready to ‘kill’ with Brazilian weapons

By Daily Sports on February 1, 2016

FC Ifeanyi Ubah are ready to take the 2014/2015 season by storm, following its acquisition of six Brazilian players and the return of their Bulgarian tactician, Mitko Dobrev.

As one of the two privately-owned clubs in the elite league, the President of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, has not hidden his passion and desire to make the club first among equals with its transformation to a model in every ramification.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah’s six Brazilian imports ahead of the league season, is a feat which has sent shivers to other competing clubs. The club’s preparations under the supervision of Mitko Dobrev, assisted by coaches from Brazil and Cameroon, has put the team in the right psychological frame of mind for the task ahead.

The pre-season developments in FC Ifeanyi Ubah, arguably will redirect the mind of Nigerian fans from the trending European leagues to the Nigerian league when the hostilities resume at stadia across the country.

The Nnewi-based “Anambra Warriors”, who have been in a closed camping in Ibadan, have lined up some international friendly matches, beginning with Ghana giants, Accra Heart of Oaks and Ashanti Kotoko on Sunday and Wednesday in Accra and Kumasi, respectively. (The Authority)
