Italy qualified for Euro 2020 with a 2-0 defeat of Greece at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night.
Second-half goals from Jorginho and Federico Bernardeschi carried the Italians through after playing to a stalemate in the opening period.
The Chelsea star opened the scoring from the penalty spot shortly after the hour mark. After Andreas Bouchalakis handled a Lorenzo Insigne in the box, the Brazil-born midfielder coolly converted past Alexandros Paschalakis to give the Italians the lead.
Bernardeschi sealed the victory 25 minutes later to book Italy's place in next summer's European Championships.
Roberto Mancini’s side have won all seven of their qualifying matches and top Group J on 21 points, having ended fifth-placed Greece's slim hopes of qualification.
Finland suffered a thumping 4-1 defeat away to Bosnia & Herzegovina but remain second on 12 points, two ahead of Bosnia and Armenia, who missed a golden opportunity to go joint second when they were held to a 1-1 draw away to rock-bottom Liechtenstein. (ESPN)
