Nigerian star Victor Moses is pleased after facing Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup ahead of the 2019/2020 campaign.
Moses and his Fenerbahce teammates lost 6-1 to the German giants Bayern, before losing 5-3 to Spanish giants Real.
The winger started against Bayern and he was introduced in the 57th minute against Real.
“Yeah it is a good tournament playing against the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid,” Moses told Fenerbahce TV.
”But the most important thing is to get the fitness, it is all about fitness and it’s all about how well you have done.
“We have to take the positives out of the tournament, I thought we’ve done very well today, we are looking forward to the season.”
Moses, 28, is on loan at Fenerbahce from English giants Chelsea.
Fenerbahce are scheduled to face Gazisehir Gaziantep FK in their 2019/20 Turkish Super Lig opener on Saturday, August 17. (African Football)
