Invincible Angels FC Unveils Coach Nwaneri •Ex Falcons Star Promises Her Best

Invincible Angels FC of Gboko, Benue State have unveiled their new coach. She is Adanna Gloria Nwaneri.

Chairman of the club, Apostle Chur Jnr. MichaelRandy, said the occasion was meant to officially present the coach to Benue people, Nigeria and the global community in general.

He noted that the appointment of Coach Nwaneri followed due process of theoretical and practical interview conducted by the management of the club, adding that management was satisfied with her credentials hence the need to recruit and present her to the public.

Chur Jnr., who described Coach Nwaneri as “a big fish caught from the deep ocean”, maintained that the club was happy to have someone whose vast wealth of experience as a player and seasoned football coach has started telling on the club.

Chur Jnr., who is also the Benue State Chairman of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, said the target of the coach is to retain the club in the premier league and assured her of the support and cooperation of management to enable her succeed in her new assignment.

Nwaneri was thereafter presented with a new jersey with her name boldly written on it that Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

The coach was so happy with the way and manner she was receive by the team and the good people of Gboko and Benue State.

She lauded management for giving her the opportunity to tinker the young ladies and sued for the cooperation of players and management of the club to enable her succeed.

As a footballer, Adanna Gloria Nwaneri played for Ado Babes FC of Onitsha, Ufuoma Babes FC of Warri, Ibom Angels FC, Delta Queens Fc, FCT Queens as well as Super Falcons of Nigeria.

She captained all the teams she featured for during her career as a player.

Nwaneri, a highly versatile coach, was also the Assistant Coach of Nigeria’s national U-17 women team that included then Invincible Angels – Francisca Ordega and Loveth Ayila.

As a national team coach, Nwaneri took the national team to Trinidad and Tobago in 2011 and in 2018, took the team to Azerbaijan for a four-nation tournament. She is also an executive member of FCT coaches association.
