The January 2016 FIFA rankings have seen the Super Eagles of Nigeria remain on the same 66th position as it did in the December 2015 rankings.
In Africa, Nigeria is 14th position, behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Senegal, Congo, Guinea, Cameroon, Egypt, Congo DR, Uganda and Mali.
The overall FIFA rankings see the top ten teams in the world from December 2015 remain unchanged, as Belgium retained the first position in the world, followed closely by Argentina and Spain, respectively.
However, there are noticeable changes in the rankings. Sweden move one place to 34th position, Iran move two places to 43rd, and Guinea also moved one place to 49th.
But major movements include Zambia moving 6 places to 67th and Rwanda moving 10 places to 91st position.
