Wikki, Insurance, Rivers Utd, Remo, Yobe, Gombe, Go Round, Kada City on duty in outstanding NPFL matches

RANGERS VS NIGER TORNADOES

Rangers FC of Enugu will host Niger Tornadoes of Minna on Wednesday in Enugu in one of this year’s NPFL outstanding matches. The match, which would have been both teams’ opening match of the season in week one, was postponed due to Rangers’ CAF Cup engagement.

Rangers defeated Enyimba on Sunday at home in Enugu by a lone goal, while Niger Tornadoes drew goalless at home to new comers Bendel lnsurance.

WIKKI TOURISTS VS BENDEL INSURANCE

Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi will be host to new comers Bendel lnsurance on Wednesday in Gombe for their week one match.

The Benin Arsenal did not start the league with other teams on the opening day one due to their Nationwide League (NNL) Super 8 engagement, which made them to be given three weeks to prepare for the NPFL.

Wikki Tourists lost their last home match against visiting Sunshine Stars by a lone goal last Sunday.

Bendel lnsurance drew their last weekend match away to Niger Tornadoes in Minna.

RIVERS UNITED VS REMO STARS

Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt will also host new comers Remo Stars in Port Harcourt in one of the outstanding week one matches.

Rivers United won their match on Sunday against visiting MFM of Lagos by a lone goal while Remo Stars also won their match against visiting Katsina United by two goals to nil.

This would have been both teams’ opening match of the season but due to the NNL Super 8 the match did not hold.

YOBE STARS VS GOMBE UNITED

Yobe Stars will host visiting Gombe United, one of the new comers, in Damaturu for this outstanding week one match.

Yobe Stars won their match last Sunday against hard-fighting Heartland of Owerri by a lone goal and new comers Gombe United drew away to Abia Warriors same Sunday.

GO ROUND VS KADA CITY

Go Round FC will host the last new comers Kada City in Omoku in one of the outstanding week one matches.

Go round defeated visiting El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday at home in Omoku by a lone goal while Kada City FC lost at home to team of the moment, FC IfeanyiUba, by a lone goal in Kaduna.
