President of Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC), Prince Vincent Okumagba, has congratulated the re-elected President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick and wished him well as he continue his good job for the good of the game in the country.
Okumagba in a telephone conversation from Kastina describe Amaju Pinnick’s re-election as well deserved and reward for hard work, justice and equity and zeal he has displayed so far for the growth of the game since he assumed office in 2014.
He added that the keenly contested poll and its resultant outcome further vindicated the fact that hard work and diligence pays and the fact that he got his vote across the length and breathe of the country showed his wide acceptance due to his result oriented programme for football in the land.
The NSESC posited that the way and matter the atmosphere that greeted the venue of the election showed that the game would always win despite individual difference and at the end of the all the nitty- gritty that is the strong points of the game would triumph as we have seen after the just concluded poll.
"We have seen the transparent election and how everything was conducted in an orderly manner. It was yet another victory for the game despite it travails enroute the election. It is well commended and football family remains the better for it. I will use this opportunity to call on those that contested the election in whatever capacity to join hands with the victor and his team to prevail the game. Everyone is a winner as just participation in football attracts prize. Nigerian football should have upper hand and from today we forge ahead together,” he said.
The President further thumbs up Amaju Pinnick for his maturity, clam, devoted to the cause of football and urge him to continue with his spirit of open door, transparency, humane which has been for the overall interest of the game. He described Amaju Pinnick as great administrator and father that never carry over. According these qualities and more have distinguished him miles ahead and endured him even near to his worst opponents.
“He said his benevolent nature has encouraged the game and its participants. It has brought the country further and into the front burner of continental and World football. Nigerian football and footballers are no longer on mere background and by the time you finished by 2022, we will be there with laurels and sundry to show for it,” he said.
