West Ham ended their poor start to the season by defeating Everton at Goodison Park 3-1 courtesy of a brace from Andriy Yarmolenko and a strike from Marko Arnautovic.
Andriy Yarmolenko who started his first match since joining the Hammers in the summer repaid Pellegrini's faith in him with a match-winning performance.
The Ukrainian opened the scoring in the 11th minute after finishing off a fine counter attacking move assisted by Arnautovic.
Everton Goalkeeper, Pickford error allow Yarmolenko to curl in a stunner for his second goal of the match.
Gylfi Sigurddson reduced the deficit for Everton on the stroke of half time, Arnautovic scored the third goal to give West Ham their first win of the season.
The win will come as a relief for West Ham coach, Manuel Pellegrini who has been under pressure for his team's poor start to the season.
