Odion Ighalo could lead Nigeria’s attack line against Seychelles in the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.
Ighalo, who is Gernot Rohr’s first choice forward, will get another chance after a dismal world cup outing with the Super Eagles in Russia.
Rohr defended the choice of the China-based forward and insists the player has the backing of the technical crew in spite of criticisms over the player’s performance during the tournament in June.
Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho and Simy Nwankwo, the other front men invited for the qualifier, will hope to get match action against the Pirates at some stage during the game. (Footballlive.ng)
