Enyimba in narrow win over Williamsville in CAF Confederation Cup

By Daily Sports on July 19, 2018

Nigerian side Enyimba forced a slim 1-0 win over visiting Williamsville on Wednesday evening in a CAF Confederations Cup group game played in Port Harcourt.

Enyimba showed early intentions in the game firing from all cylinders and in the 7th minute the effort paid off handsomely as striker Ibrahim Mustapha connected from a cross to hit home the solitary goal.

The win came as a relief to Enyimba who lost their second match 3-0 to Cara Brazzaville in Congo therefore they needed the win which ensured they moved to top of Group C.

The win came as a suprise to many as Enyimba has been without a coach after the sacking of Paul Aigbogun.
