The President of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF Amaju Pinnick yesterday in Jos the Plateau State capital failed to stop Chris Giwa from operating in the Glass House as NFF President as he could not raise the motion challenging the court ex-parte order granted to him (Giwa). Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN) Amaju Pinnick counsel had asked the court to sit on Thursday, July 5, following the two motions he had challenging the exparte order the Presiding Judge, Justice Musa Kurya Granted to him but it couldn't as it was adjourned for July 10 for that business.
However unfortunately on resumption of hearing yesterday Keyamo had to withthraw an earlier motion he filed asking the Kurya to excuse himself from the case to enable the Chief Justice of the Federation to assign it to another judge. That attempt brought about serious argument in court with first one Mr Shankyula Samuel announcing his appeareance for the Mr Aminu Maigari and Mr Musa Ahmadu (1st and 2nd defendants), whom Keyamo also announced appearance and for Pinnick

At the end Keyamo had to withdraw his representation for the duo, Maigari and Ahmadu. Consequently, Samuel told the court that he could not continue with the case as Keyamu tries to withdraw his motion filed on May 28. "My Lord I am just coming into the matter for the first time and would need more time to enable me study it very well before making any meaningful submission, " Samuel applied to the court
Although Keyamo objected to the application the judge ruled in favour of Samuel and adjourned the case to Sept 25 for continuation of hearing. The Judge then told the parties involved that if there was anything serious about the case they should write to the authorities for a fiat for him to continue since "I am already on vacation. At that junction Keyamo brought a letter said to have purportedly written by FIFA informed the court of the danger of not addressing the NFF saga warning that FIFA by its letter to Nigeria has warned to sanction Nigeria if the proper thing is not done.
