BREAKING NEWS: Defending Champions Germany crash out of World Cup

By Daily Sports on June 27, 2018

Defending World Cup Champions Germany suffered a humiliating exit from Russia 2018 after finishing bottom of Group F.

Germany finished bottom in the group after a 2-0 defeat against South Korea. Sweden topped the group after a 3-0 win against Mexico.

South Korea are also going home but two very late goals have eliminated the Low’s side, who fail to get past the opening stage of a World Cup for the first time since 1938.

For the fourth time in five World Cup tournaments, the defending champions exit the competition at the group stage. (Channels TV)
