The Super Eagles have announced their squad numbers for the tournament and Ndidi, Leicester City’s young player of the year, is expected to play a prominent role once he has completely recovered from a hamstring injury.
Ndidi missed Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to England at Wembley, which was a warm-up for the finals, but is expected to be fit for when the group games kick off.

Ahmed Musa will wear the same number as he does for City, number seven, while City’s other Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho, is squad number 14. (leicestermecury.co.uk)
