WWE star Triple H congratulates England defender Kyle Walker after victory over Nigeria

By Daily Sports on June 3, 2018

It’s almost time for England to play the game at the World Cup, and their efforts to lift the Jules Rimet trophy were improved (on Saturday) courtesy of WWE legend Triple H.

The multi-time WWE champion tweeted his appreciation for England and Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, after the right-back seemingly copied Triple H’s signature water spit during England’s victory over Nigeria.

“Confidence in the ring or on the pitch. Great form, great distance,” wrote Triple H on Twitter, before continuing:

“Hope you saved some for the rest of the team,” said Triple H. “Congrats on the win.”

With Triple H’s own America side failing to quality for the World Cup, it’s safe to say that the soccer fan will be supporting England during the tournament.

His support of West Ham was revealed in 2015 when he told ITV News that “West Ham is probably the closest to what we do, with the passion of their fanbase and their loyalty, right? That’s the closest to what we do.”

Although no Hammers will be competing for England in Russia, it seems as clear as the water he so commonly spits that Triple will be cheering on the Three Lions later this month. (Metro)
