Putting most of his fellow "veterans" to shame, one striker defied his advancing years to help fire his side to victory in Poland on Sunday.
Born in 1947, Bogdan Glabicki came off the bench for Hutnik Huta Czechy in the latter stages of their Siedlce regional league tie against Sep Zelechow.
It took just three minutes for the 71-year-old impact sub to make his mark by tapping home from close range. Glabicki demonstrated a lithe turn of pace to get his name on the score sheet.
Hutnik Huta Czechy went on to register a comprehensive 8-2 win, thus strengthening their promotion push by leaving the club second in the table with just four fixtures to play.(ESPN)
