Galatasaray crowned Turkey Super League champions for 21st time

Istanbul club Galatasaray received its championship trophy on Sunday during a celebration held at its Turk Telekom Stadium.

Galatasaray became the champion in Turkey’s Spor Toto Super League on Saturday for the 21st time, after beating Goztepe 1-0.

Turkish Football Federation Deputy President Ali Durust handed over the trophy.

Galatasaray supporters filled most of the stadium, where singers Aleyna Tilki, Berkay and music group Gripin held a concert.
