Boxer Adrian Bonner releases video criticizing rapper Kane West for supporting Trump

By Daily Sports on May 3, 2018

It isn’t often that notable figures in boxing come into contact with other entertainers but this week the likes of promoter Lou Di Bella and now welterweight Adrien Broner have come out bashing Kanye West.

West has gained a lot of press this last week with tweets supporting President Donald Trump amid other controversial tweets over the last few days.

Adrien Broner is not impressed, and released a video on Twitter criticising Kane West.

Bonner said on Twitter: “F**k is going on. Kanye you’re one of my idols bro. Please come back.”

Broner recently fought to a draw with Jessie Vargas last month on a show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Following the fight Broner called for a rematch stating he thought he won the fight clearly, as did Vargas.

The prospect of a rematch will likely happen next up unless something bigger comes in for Broner – like an Amir Khan bout.
