Stephen Keshi National U-17 Football Tournament gets trophy

The First Edition of the Stephen Keshi National Under-17 Football Tournament scheduled to hold in the month of June 2018 in Benin received a big boost, as Hon (Dr) Engr Omoregie Ogbeide Ihama, representative of Oredo Federal Constituency in the Federal House Reps, Chairman House Committee on Culture and Tourism, agreed to donate the trophy and support the hosting of the tournament.

The Trophy for tournament put together by the National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers in conjunction with the Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Centre, will be presented to the union during the National Football Seminar holding on May 3 at the Conference Hall of Wesley Hotel GRA Benin City by 11am.

The tournament is part of the activities lined up by the Nigeria Players Union to mark the second anniversary ceremony of late football legend Stephen Keshi.
