Arsenal ‘make offer’ for Real Madrid ’keeper Keylor Navas as replacement for Petr Cech

By Daily Sports on April 1, 2018

Arsenal have reportedly made an offer to bring in Real Madrid keeper Keylor Navas to replace Petr Cech.

The La Liga giants are desperate for a new No.1 this summer, with Navas no longer considered good enough.

Real are keen to raid the Premier League for their next stopper, with Manchester United star David De Gea and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois touted as potential signings.

De Gea almost moved to the Bernabeu in 2015 and after a number of stunning seasons at United he could be prepared to return to his homeland.

Navas will be looking for a new club in his quest for first-team football and according to reports in Spain he has a number of offers on the table.

The Gunners want fresh faces this summer as they look to bounce back from a miserable season.

The signing of Navas could be the catalyst for a major squad shake-up, with the future of a number of Arsenal stars in doubt.

Cech has struggled in goal for the north London side this term and Arsene Wenger wants a long-term replacement for the 35-year-old.
