By Daily Sports on March 26, 2018

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has revealed his plans for the future, including when he wants to return to playing in Argentina.

Aguero came through the youth system at Independiente, making his senior debut for the club before completing a move to Atletico Madrid.

Aguero spoke to Fox Sports Argentina about Argentina national team, the upcoming World Cup in Russia and the possibility of a return to former club Independiente.

“I feel indebted to the national team. The only way I can repay them is to win the World Cup”, the 29-year-old stated.

The striker even joked about the inclusion of Juventus hitman Gonzalo Higuain, stating: “It would have been better for me if he had not been called up!”

He continued: “When my contract with Manchester City ends (2020), I will return to Argentina, to Independiente.”
