By DailySports Nigeria on December 30, 2025

Super Eagles top stars Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman are in danger of being banned for the 2025 AFCON Round of 16 clash as they are a booking away from suspension.

No 1 goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali and Semi Ajayi are the other players on a booking going into a final Group C clash against Uganda later today.

Ademola Lookman was booked for a tough tackle in Nigeria’s opening group game against Tanzania, while Osimhen, Nwabali and Semi Ajayi got into the bad book of the referee in the thrilling 3-2 victory over Tunisia.
