The Election Committee of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos State Chapter, has commenced the sale of forms for intending members who are eligible and interested in administrative positions of the executive committee of the association.
The announcement was made at the inaugural meeting of the Lagos SWAN Electoral committee held at the Lagos SWAN Secretariat, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
According to the committee, elections will hold on November 30, as against the earlier stated date of December 1, due to the clash with social events for members of the association on the said date.
The forms can be picked up from at the Lagos SWAN Secretariat, National Stadium Complex, Surulere, from today the 2nd of November 2017. The sales of forms end on the 15th of November, 2017.
The positions available for election and the price of forms are as follows:
1. Chairman (N25,000)
2. Vice Chairman (N20,000)
3. Secretary (N20,000)
4. Assistant Secretary (N15,000)
5. Treasurer (N20,000)
6. Financial Secretary (N15,000)
7. Internal Auditor (15,000)
