Odion Ighalo may be injured and ruled out of the World Cup qualifier in Algeria as well as the friendly against Argentina thereafter, but the former Watford striker is backing the Eagles to win both games.
According to SCORENigeria, the Changchun Yatai of China striker said though it will be difficult, it could be achieved.
“I am wishing them all the very best in the games. I know they can win both games. Hopefully, I will be fit for the games next year,” he told SCORENigeria
“They are difficult games, but it is possible to win both.”
Ighalo is nursing a knee injury from his team’s last game of the season in China.
“I am not happy that I won’t be part of the games, especially against Argentina but that’s one of those things in football,” Ighalo said philosophically.
