Goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has hinted he would have loved to be involved in next month’s games against Algeria and Argentina, but will continue to work hard to return to serious reckoning in the Super Eagles.
He told SCORENIgeria that he would fight his way back to the Eagles.
Francis Uzoho from Deportivo La Coruna was considered ahead of him for the matches in Algeria and Russia next month.
“I have taken my non-invitation in good faith because I respect the decision of the coach,” Ajiboye told SCORENigeria
“Those on the squad deserved their chance and as a professional I will keep pushing and working hard to return back to the team as soon as possible.
“I am training very hard with my club and still remain resolute to patiently wait for the opportunity to cement my place in the Super Eagles,” he said.
