Man City loanee Chidiebere Nwakali on target for Sogndal

By Daily Sports on August 21, 2017

On loan Manchester City midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali found the back of the net for his loan side Sogndal to help them to a comfortable 2-0 win over Kristiansund BK.

Nwakali put the game beyond Kristiansund with Sogndal’s second goal of the game in the 76th minute after Gilbert Koomson has given them the lead in the 16th minutes.

The goal was his first of the season for the club where he has made 18 appearances in the league this season in what is his fourth consecutive loan spell away from the Etihad.

Last season he made 22 appearances for fellow Norwegian side Start but couldn’t save them from beating the drop to the second division.

20 year old Nwakali signed a one year contract extension with Manchester City before extending his loan spell with Sogndal till the end of the season.
