Manager Harry Redknapp has said English Championship side Birmingham City are close to signing Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
A 4 million pounds transfer fee has been agreed between Birmingham City and Onazi’s Turkish club Trabzonspor and the player is due in England for a medical, according to various reports in England.
Onazi has been linked with a move to England since his Lazio days. However, Birmingham City will have to choose between Onazi and Ghana international Afriyie Acquah.
“You’ve got to see what you can get really,” Redknapp told Sky Sports News.“
If you can get them both you’ve got to make a decision, if you can only get one you take him, but if you can’t get any…you just pray…I don’t know where you go, but we’re trying to get them in.”
