Nigerian-born striker Tammy Abraham has signed a new five-year contract with Chelsea.
The 19-year-old however, will continue his development at fellow Premier League club Swansea City.
“Tammy Abraham has signed a new five-year deal with Chelsea,” reported the Chelsea website.
“The 19-year-old will now join fellow Premier League side Swansea City on a season-long loan as he continues his development.”
The tall striker, born in England to Nigerian parents, has been at Chelsea from the U8s.Last season, he scored 26 goals in all competitions while on loan with Bristol City in the English Championship.
He scooped both the Bristol City Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year Awards.
He has represented England at U18, U19 and U21s.
