Keshi left legacies in Nigeria and Africa Football with unmatched exploits both as a player and Coach. As a player he captained the senior team, the Nigeria Super Eagles for more than a decade with an outstanding record of being one of the only two persons that has won the Africa Nations Cup, both as a player and Coach

A statement issued on Saturday in Lagos by the General Secretary of the Union, Comrade Austin Popo, indicated that the lecture, apart from being a remembrance event, “will serve as a most veritable platform in highlighting and showcasing the unconfined contributions of Stephen Keshi to the overall development of Africa Football as well as promote   his ideals and passions for the discovery and development of young talented footballers”

The Guest Speaker for the lecture is Mr. Mike Idoko, an astute football administrator, and Chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club.
