Iwobi, Aina to join Eagles late in Paris

By Daily Sports on May 9, 2017

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi and Chelsea young defender Ola Aina will now join the Super Eagles in Paris after their club engagements.

A statement said both players have been granted permission to feature for their respective clubs in the English FA Cup final on 27th May before joining the squad in Paris.

That means they will miss a friendly against Corsica the previous day as a result.

The NFF said the Eagles are billed to set up another training camp in Paris, capital of France, for the second phase of the camping programme ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

The match is fixed for June 10 in Uyo.
