Three matches took place in the state finals of the 2017 Federation Cup on Saturday, and more action continue on Sunday in the other states, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
At the Kwara State Stadium Ilorin, Kwara United defeated Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Football Club 1-0 in the final of the state's Federation Cup. Same scoreline prevailed in Yola in the final between Adamawa United and Adamawa Feeders. At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Insurance thrashed Dynamites 5-0.
On Sunday, seven-time league champions Enyimba will play host to Abia Warriors in the Abia State version of the FA Cup final.
Current Federation Cup champions FC Ifeanyi Ubah and IfeanyiUbah Feeders will square up at the Anambra State final at the FC Ifeanyiubah Stadium, Nnewi.
It will be Rangers International of Enugu against Coal City FC at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for the state's final.
Rangers are on a terrible run of form in the Nigeria Professional Football League and will be hard-pressed to get a win in this state's final.
Mountain of Fires and Miracles FC of Lagos and Spartans FC will entertain fans of both sides at the Agege Stadium Lagos on Sunday for what promises to be a great final.
