Ndidi needs time to settle – Drinkwater

By Daily Sports on January 21, 2017

Danny Drinkwater has said that Leicester City’s winter signing Wilfred Ndidi needs to time to settle down in Claudio Raineri’s side.

The 20-year-old was signed from Belgian side Gent and has featured in two games for the Foxes

While hailing the attributes of the youngster, the English midfielder stated that the Nigerian needs to settle down first, stating that he is willing to help get him feel at home at the King Power Stadium.

"He's an athletic lad," Drinkwater told Leicester Mercury.

"He's tall and good on the ball so hopefully when he settles in he can spur us on.

"The new lads coming in need time to settle in and everyone understands that. They're working hard, but if me and Kingy (Andy King) and the other lads can help them then we're more than happy to do so."

Leicester City are placed 15th on the log after garnering 21 points and they visit the St. Mary’s Stadium in their next league encounter on January 22. (goal.com)
