Russell heads into her home meeting as the in-form athlete in the field. The American, who claimed Olympic gold in Paris, recorded her maiden Diamond League victory in Silesia last August, clocking a series record of 12.19 seconds, and will be chasing her first overall Diamond League title when the series concludes in Brussels in September.

Stark, also American, arrives in Eugene having enjoyed a standout Diamond League campaign in 2025, setting meeting records in Keqiao, Stockholm and Paris before delivering a bronze medal performance at the World Championships in Tokyo.

Williams, the Jamaican veteran, adds further pedigree to the field as a two-time world champion, having won her most recent title in Budapest in 2023.

The 2026 Diamond League season opens in Doha on May 8 and spans 15 cities across four continents before concluding with the two-day final in Brussels on September 4 and 5.
