Lagos SWAN, PAACC Hold SWAN Day At Golfview Hotels, Ikeja

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter in collaboration with the Foreign Relations Team of Pan African American Chamber of Commerce (PAACC) will hold the second edition of its Diplomacy, Sports Culture, Sports Tourism, Sports Travels, Sports Security, Food, Health and Fashion Initiative.

 

The event is scheduled for Thursday at Golfview Hotels & Conference Centre on General Adeyinka Adebayo Road, off Oba Akinjobi way GRA Ikeja Lagos.

 

 

This year's edition will focus on International Diplomacy, its diversity of foods, Drinks, Music, Arts, Culture and Fashion.

 

Secretary of Lagos SWAN, Omotunde Bello said in a press statement that the second edition of the special program is coming on the heel of the success of the first edition held in 2023 and the popular demand among the stakeholders that this second edition will be coming at a better when the nation yearns for a right direction to use sports to open doors and break barriers.

 

"This year's event will be colourful as Lagos SWAN has brought on board arrays of partners in the government, private sector, diplomatic community and high profile individuals in the country to add colours to this special program which have tagged 2024 SWAN Day," said Bello.

 

"Lagos SWAN wants to use the platform of sports to explore our diversities as a nation in different aspects of our life, and to once again reinforce the fact that sports is a unifying factor that a nation can use for human development.

 

"There is inter-connectivity of sports with foreign relations, foods and culture sector," said the secretary of Lagos SWAN.

The place to be on Thursday, 21 November, 2024 from 10am is the Golfview Hotels, GRA, Ikeja.
