Liverpool ready £50.7m Lookman offer

By Daily Sports Nigeria on June 26, 2024

Liverpool are preparing to bid £50.7 million for Atalanta star Ademola Lookman as they aim to strengthen their attack this summer, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The 26-year-old has revived his career at Atalanta under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini, following a period of inconsistency at Everton, Fulham, RB Leipzig, and Leicester City.

The Nigeria international enjoyed a stellar campaign last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Lookman’s standout performance came in the Europa League final, where he scored a hat-trick against previously unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen, helping Atalanta secure their first major trophy in over six decades.
