The twice-postponed Onitsha City Marathon has finally been cancelled.
This contained a statement released on November 9, 2023, by a member of the Organising Committee (MOC), Philip Balepo.
No reason was given for the cancellation.
The MOC merely said that they and GLS Projects, its Marketing Partners would look forward to organizing the event next year.
The event was planned for Sept. 30 and later rescheduled for Oct. 25, 2023, and even then did not hold.
