The Lagos State chapter of Sport Writers Asssociation of Nigeria (SWAN) celebrates an enigmatic personality and a Distinguished Senetor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at 59.
The Executive Chairman Olatutu Oladunni, alongside the entire members of the certified sports body has rolled out the drums to congratulate the ever innovative and youth friend Senator popularly called the Father of Tech in the Red Chamber, Senetor Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, as he marks his 59th birthday in joy.
Senator Abiru, who is representing Lagos East Senatorial District, has no doubt played a vital role since he joined the legislative chamber via productive ideas especially as he has impacted into the youths through technology upgrade and empowerment.
The distinguished Senator who was former Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, played tremendous role in Lagos as he facilitated the floating of N80 billion bond in Lagos, earning it the EMEA Finance’s Best Local Currency Bond Award for year 2012.
In the same vein, Abiru, who is known to be seasoned banker, opened up discussions on taxation in Lagos State after the discovery of over 5.5 million tax evaders in Lagos in year 2013.
Sen Abiru’s efforts have also been confirmed through great impart he continues to make by touching the lives of youths in Lagos East Senatorial District through different laudable sporting activities, grants and career supports training and equipments across boards.
The entire executive team and members of Lagos SWAN, under their first female chairman of the association since 1964, Olatutu Oladunni, did commend these beautiful achievements within a very short period, therefore wish the Distinguished Senator, Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, a prosperous and blessed happy birthday and many more fruitful years to come.
Oladunni also use this medium to thank the amiable Senator for sharing his wisdom of wealth amongst all aspiring youths so as to expand wider rooms of good opportunities.
LAGOS SWAN Chairman, Olatutu Oladunni, enjoined the distinguished Senator to extend hands of support to LAGOS SWAN as this will definitely improve the welfare of the professional members who are always proud of his commendable achievements as a legislator in the Red Chamber. She said smoother synergy can be achieved to boost future collaborations with the sports professional body.
