Lewandowski Becomes Europe’s Top Scorer 3rd Time In Row

Robert Lewandowski became the top scorer playing in Europe for both Bayern Munich and his country Poland for the third calendar year straight in 2021.

The Polish star scored a total of 69 goals in 59 games for both his club Bayern Munich and his national team Poland in 2021.

The 33-year-old player scored 47 goals in 2020 and 54 in 2019.

French star Kylian Mbappe became the runner-up in 2021 Europe's top scorer list with 51 goals in 67 games for both Paris Saint-Germain and France.

Lewandowski shared the second-most goals record with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who also scored 69 goals in 2013.

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi is the most scoring player ever in Europe in a calendar year with his 91 goals for Barcelona and Argentina in 2012.
