Premier League Newcomers Brentford Keen On Nigeria’s Frank Onyeka

By Daily sports on June 26, 2021

Newly-promoted Premier League club Brentford have reportedly started negotiations with FC Midtjylland midfielder Frank Onyeka.

According to Sky Sports, the Bees are interested in signing the 23-year-old from their sister club.

Both clubs are owned by Matthew Benham and as a result, a deal should be simple to conclude.

Onyeka has scored 17 goals in over 100 appearances for the Danish club and impressed in their six UEFA Champions League group stage matches last season.

The Nigerian midfielder joined FC Midtjylland five years ago.

Brentford won promotion to England’s top-flight after beating Swansea City in the play-off final.

The Bees kick-off their 2021/22 campaign at home to Arsenal on the 13th of August. (African Football)
