Merenini Junior sees Ikorodu United's upcoming four games as an ideal opportunity for the club to turn their season around.
The Lagos based side currently occupy 20th position in the Nigeria Professional Football League table.
But Junior believes that games against Kano Pillars, Plateau United, Enugu Rangers and Warri Wolves in the coming weeks present them an opportunity for more points.
“We will fight to the death against the quartet as getting the eight points would be spectacular, we need two wins and two draws to bring some much-needed comfort,” Junior told Goal.
“The group’s work so against Heartland brought good feelings. The next four games are very important. We must make our home ground a fortress and also pick points away.
“We have nine points so far and no-one is happy with this. But surely if we continue with the dynamic we showed in our game at home to Heartland then things are going to be fine.”
Ikorodu United are on the road to Kano Pillars in the week 15 of the NPFL this weekend. (goal.com)
