By Daily sports on March 10, 2021

Ottasolo Football Club of Ogun on Tuesday when they defeated FC Ebedei 3-0 in the ongoing 2020/2021 Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One Competition in Ilorin.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the victory made it two wins in a row for Ottasolo FC to maintain their unbeaten start to the competition.

The match at the Kwara Stadium Complex in Ilorin started on a slow pace as the two teams took time in warming themselves into the game.

Tomola Megba who fired blanks in their 4-2 win against ABU FC on Monday was the day’s hero as he scored a brace to help his team secure the three points.

Substitute Samuel Nkwachukwu also scored to help “The Solo Boys” maintain their superiority over a hard-fighting FC Ebedei.

Ottasolo FC’s goalkeeper Korede Shodipe made a big save in the 19th minute when FC Ebedei’s Olasupo Samson dribbled past his marker from the flank to whip in a low cross.

Also, the centre referee ignored a penalty kick appeal by the Ottasolo FC bench after John Peter was wrestled down in the penalty box by Nwankwo Nnamdi in the 26th minute.

Megba put Ottasolo FC ahead with a brilliant close range strike off a well-weighted low cross by Ogunjimi Samuel in the 38th minute.

With just a minute before the break, Megba doubled Ottasolo FC’s advantage with a cool finish off a sumptuous assist by Domonic Abah.

In the 64th minute, substitute Nkwachukwu made it 3-0 for Ottasolo FC with a close-range strike after a clever assist by Adewale Adebayo following a brilliant build-up initiated by John Peter.
