Hazard Named In Squad To Travel To Monchengladbach

Real Madrid have already named their travelling squad for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Borussia Monchengladbach, with Eden Hazard called up for the match in Germany.

The Belgian hasn’t played yet this season after suffering a new injury. Injuries have been a problem since he arrived at Real Madrid, with ankle issues limiting the superstar signing to just 22 appearances in 2019/20.

Hazard trained with the rest of the group on Sunday, as Real Madrid got back to work following El Clasico, and is now one of the 21 players in the midweek squad.

Missing out are right-backs Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola, as well as Nacho - the main alternative option for the right of defence. Martin Odegaard and Mariano are also absent due to injury.

The complete squad for the Borussia Monchengladbach trip is as follows: Thibaut Courtois, Andry Lunin, Diego Altube, Eder Militao, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Ferland Mendy, Santos, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, Isco, Eden Hazard, Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez, Luka Jovic, Vinicius and Rodrygo.
